Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, or so they say.
And it’s true that in the RV industry, ideas are occasionally
‘borrowed’ from one builder to the next.

However, there is still plenty of fresh thinking. I recall a pop-
top by Coronet RV that offered a full-width rear bathroom
with a solid bathroom wall (courtesy of some fold-up ply
panels), rather than a vinyl gusset. At the time, I thought that
was pretty neat.

And how about that Sky-Deck, which you’ll find on the Royal
Flair Piazza? Five or more years since it was launched, it still
draws a caravan-show crowd.

Almost 20 years ago, Windsor developed the first of the
fold-out bed-ends, a concept still in use by manufacturers

And now, as reported in this issue, Coromal is taking things
a step further with the new chassis design found on its
Pioneer Evolution range. In an industry that uses RHS steel
almost exclusively as a caravan foundation, Coromal’s ‘FRV’
chassis seems to be a welcome innovation. Will it spark

tips. However often these topics are covered, there always
seems to be confusion concerning the dos and don’ts. Next
