HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS
We've been to Darwin several times and we've
thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Here are just some
of our favourite places to visit:
Adelaide River jumping crocodiles: No visit to
Darwin would be compete without a tour on
the Adelaide River to witness the estuarine
crocodiles jumping for a feed. These apex
predators were hunted to near extinction but,
thanks to earning a protected status, they have
returned in huge numbers.
You're virtually guaranteed to see these amazing
beasts put on a display. If you're lucky, you will see
the amazing Brutus, an 80-year-old 5.5m giant of
the river. Some of the tour operators are closed
for the wet season; however, many do offer wet-
season programs.
Darwin Aviation Museum: If you have an
interest in aviation, especially military aircraft,
you're going to love this place. Situated just
south of Darwin Airport, the Darwin Aviation
Museum houses a unique collection of planes
and helicopters as well as artefacts related to
military and general aviation.
Another amazing Darwin sunset.

A 'jumping croc' cruise
on the Adelaide River
is a must.
