Collyn Rivers is an ex-research engineer
with a particular interest in recreational
vehicles. He has written extensively on
most technical matters relating to the
field, from solar to correct caravan weight
distribution and towing dynamics.
This article is an excerpt from his most
recent e-book, Caravan Roll Overs and How
To Prevent It. This book is a comprehensive

about why caravans jack-knife and roll, and
features practical advice on how to avoid it.
Written from the authoritative perspective
of an engineer, this book is a must for
anyone with an interest in safe towing —
all caravanners, in other words.
