the remarkable weathered sandstone hills. The
5km loop Mpaara Walk envelops you into the
Aboriginal Dreamtime by following the story
of Mpaara, the Tawny Frogmouth-man, and the
Pangkalanga Devil Man.

CHAMBERS PILLAR
Chambers Pillar rises 50m above the desert plain
and is the drawcard to this historical reserve.
Explorers, pastoralists and travellers have left
their calling cards etched into the rockface,
something that is no longer allowed.
The best time to photograph the pillar is at sunrise
or sunset, when the colours of the sandstone
come to life.
