A heartbreaking sight...
Sometimes, you think you have done the
right thing. Yet it all comes unravelling and
there is absolutely nothing to stop it. the beginning of winter in Perth. We thought
we were safe from crazy weather in the lovely
state of Western Australia during this time.
We were happily camped in a lovely caravan
park in Perth when we received word about
a large approaching storm. They were
predicting 100km/h winds, and possibly
cyclonic weather. We jumped into action, packing away the
chairs, the table, the awning, the matt, and
even Diga Dog’s bed was packed away — his
temporary bed was set-up on the toilet floor
inside the van.
The worry beads were making an
entrance. I mean, we live in a caravan, and
meteorologists were predicting cyclonic
weather — really, really fast winds — and it’s We were ready for this storm; we were not
going to lose an awning to the wind. How
wrong could we be?
