Fry your preferred steak – minute steak works well for this recipe.
While the steak cooks, add a dash of ginger and garlic to a bottle
or jar, followed by about 50ml of rice wine vinegar, 60-70ml of
sweet chilli sauce, tamarin sauce and sesame oil.
Give this ‘special sauce’ a good shake to mix all of the ingredients.
Once the steak has cooked, let it rest off the heat for a few
minutes and then cut it into strips.
L Sweet chilli sauce Meanwhile, throw together a quick salad, add a small handful of
dried noodles for a bit of crunch, and lay the strips of steak on top.
L Tamari sauce Drizzle the sauce over the steak and salad. And dig in!
L Sesame oil Pro tip: why not marinade the steak in the sauce before cooking it?
Or, if you prefer, you can drizzle this sauce over the steak as it cooks.
