RE-IMAGINING MY VAN
After sitting in a paddock for many years, my
1969 Viscount Ambassador has been reimagined.
The original interior was in very
poor condition, but it was still water tight.
After a full stripping of everything (safely, of
course) the interior was refreshed to current
thinking, with heating, a queen-size bed and
modern colour themes.
I cleaned up and painted the chassis, fitted
new suspension, electric brakes, drawbar and
lighting, which made for a much safer van.
This may make vintage vanners cringe;
however, we wanted a place to call home that
met our needs today. The van gets
compliments for the design and refresh when
anyone ventures inside, and we look forward
to getting it back on the road.
It may not be the best-looking van on the
road, but with the many upgrades, we love it.

ENTER TO WIN A
TITAN TRAY ROOF RACK
NORTHERN LIGHTS
I cant wait for all the borders to reopen. We
can head north to Queensland, camping in as
many great free camps near the water for
some hot fishing if possible, with the
occasional stay in a caravan park.
We should make it up to Cooktown and then
head west through the old goldfields, towards
the gulf – more fishing there.
The Rola roof rack would allow me to move a
few bulky items onto the roof and make it
easier to access the back of the Land Cruiser

The Titan Tray would be perfect for
