REVERSING TIPS
Reversing a caravan is one one the biggest worries for a lot of owners . The four tips that I have learned over the years are :
1 . Get out of the car , check out the site and work out where you want the van wheels .
2 . Go slowly .
3 . If possible , back onto your site with the site on the driver ’ s side .
4 . Finally , and possibly most importantly , if you can see too much of the van in your right or left mirror , turn the steering wheel toward that mirror . Once you get this last tip ingrained into your head , the rest comes easily .
KEEPING POSITIVE
As the year is quickly disappearing , and passing through various lockdown situations , we need to keep being positive .
We got the caravan serviced early this year for our mid-year adventure . But things are not all bad , we have our 4WD , caravan and touring TV shows to keep our interest up and when they ’ re not , I settle down in front of the computer and pull up GoRV and read the adventures of others , a bit envious of them but we will soon be able to hit the roads on our own adventures .
