SPARE WHEEL ASSISTANT
The challenge to remove and replace a spare tyre on the back of an offroad van is now solved .
A simple ‘ hangman-style ’ bracket welded out of 1in square tubing and a home-rigged block and tackle , makes lifting the spare on and off the van a breeze .
The bracket is turned inwards when travelling and can be fitted on the left or right side of the van ’ s rear by inserting in a tube fitted on each side . It makes a tough job much simpler and requires no strength .
