TABLE SPACE
To provide extra useable space in our van , I replaced the original single telescopic leg with two Fiamma removable legs . This allows us to move the table into several positions to suit our needs and also to remove it completely to provide a large open space – great for when we have guests . Additionally , I made a small ‘ coffee ' tabletop ( it clips under the main table when travelling ), which uses only one of the legs to give us even more options .
The leg mount under the coffee table is offset to enable it to swing closer or further away from the couch as desired .
An unplanned bonus of this modification was that we reduced the overall weight by about 2kg .
