LETTERS FROM THE ROAD
DISTANCE EDUCATION CONCERN
My wife and I are in the process of planning a big trip around Australia – once the country is fully open again after covid , of course . We have a caravan and 4WD already and are always thinking about the gear that we will need , like a solar panel or two , cooking equipment , etc .
But the thing we ’ re most concerned with is home-schooling . We have two primary school-aged kids who adapted well to remote learning during covid lockdowns , but I ’ m not sure how they will cope with the distractions of being on the road .
Has anyone else done distance education from a caravan with their kids ? I would love to hear some experiences .
NO REVIEWS ?
One of my favourite parts of GoRV are the reviews as I am in the market for a new van and I enjoy checking out what ’ s available in your mag . I noticed , though , that last month didn ’ t contain any caravan reviews and I was wondering why .

Hi Mark , unfortunately the most recent covid lockdown in Victoria has precluded us from hitching up any new vans for road tests and video shoots , etc . We were able to get one of our Queensland correspondents to hitch up the new Coromal Thrillseeker for this issue , though . I hope that helps to tide you over ! – Ed
