Kedron has been field testing solar , batteries and compressor fridge packages for 20 years .
Glen said , “ Developments since 2001 have incorporated lithium battery packs , more efficient solar panels and compressor refrigeration , along with inverter systems giving converted 240V power to points from the lithium battery at the press of a button when free-camped . The ability to harness solar , store the power in lithium battery banks and use for 12V systems and converted mains power has been key to increased self-sufficiency and freedom of travel .”

USEFUL TECHNOLOGY
Glen recommends Al-Ko ’ s Electronic Sway Control as worthwhile equipment to “ build a safe driving experience ”.
He also recommends Al-Ko ATS , a GPS-based anti-theft system , along with WiTi , another antitheft device that acts as an alarm and engages the electric brakes to immobilise the van .
