LEGAL LOAD-CARRYING CAPACITY
The legal load-carrying capacity of a caravan / trailer is determined by subtracting the Tare Mass from the ATM . The difference between these two figures is the legal loadcarrying capacity of the trailer .
BALL-LOADING
The towball loading – the mass being imposed on the tow vehicle ’ s towball / pin – must never exceed the towball maximum of the tow vehicle , stipulated by the manufacturer of the vehicle .
