OUR QUEENSLAND CORRESPONDENT CLIMBED ABOARD FOR SOME TOWING EDUCATION AT A SPECIAL DAY RAN BY ISUZU .
The idea of getting out and about in the great outdoors is as Australian as kangaroos , meat pies and flat white coffees . It ’ s not surprising then that caravanning is one of Australia ’ s favourite past-times , with almost 67,0000 caravans circulating our highways and byways .
Aware of the importance of caravanning , Isuzu recently ran a towing training day for its I- Venture Club at the RACQ Mobility Centre in Mt Cotton on Brisbane ’ s south side . The I-Venture Club is an Isuzu owners ’ club . Isuzu is the only automotive manufacturer in Australia providing driver training , let alone tow training .
The RACQ Mobility Centre is a first-class training facility with real-world training and testing environments that include city intersections , offroad terrain , road circuits , and large vehicle manoeuvring areas that can be configured for a range of scenarios and weather conditions .
STUNT DRIVER LEADS TRAINING
Hosted by driving instructor and professional stunt driver Matt Taylor , the Isuzu caravan tow training day was remarkable , and worthwhile even for experienced drivers .
