A movie day can be the perfect way to relax . In fact , you might even be thankful , especially if your days have been packed with outdoor adventures . Get some fresh PJs on and pop on a movie . There are even some nifty projectors available for when you want to turn your RV into an impromptu movie theatre .
BOARD AND CARD GAMES
We recommend keeping a few games in your RV for those days when you have no choice but to stay indoors . The great thing about board and card games is that they can take a couple of hours to complete and , if you have a competitive streak , you won ’ t even notice the time passing .
SCRAPBOOKING
You ’ ll probably have lots of photos of your adventures . But sometimes we never get around to organising them . Spend your rainy day getting your photos in order and creating a scrapbook of your trip . The great thing about technology is that we don ’ t even need to have printed photos on hand to create a scrapbook anymore – you can do it digitally !
FIND INDOOR ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Rainy days don ’ t always mean you have to spend the day inside the van . the chances are that there ’ s a museum , planetarium , aquarium or library nearby that you can visit . And it ’ ll be an educational experience too !
FACETIME YOUR FAMILY
Life on the road can make it difficult to catch up with your family and friends because you ’ re usually so busy out hiking , swimming and exploring . A rainy day is the perfect opportunity to touch base with your loved ones for a well overdue catch up .
CLEANING
We know it ’ s not the most fun option but doing a deep clean of your van can actually be satisfying . You ’ ll thank yourself later when you ’ re not coming home to a messy home on wheels .
