BIG RED BASH
The world ’ s most remote music festival – the Birdsville Big Red Bash – is set to return this July . It is expected to attract more than 9000 people to the remote red sands of Queensland ’ s Simpson Desert for a line-up of outback entertainment including Jimmy Barnes , Missy Higgins , Kasey Chambers , Kate Ceberano , Shannon Noll and more .
Taking place over three days and nights , the all-ages and dogcamping festival is staged against the striking backdrop of the legendary 40m-high Big Red sand dune .
Nominated for ‘ Festival of the Year ’ at the 2022 Queensland Music Awards , the Big Red Bash also features a range of family-friendly activities , including outdoor film screenings , scenic helicopter flights , camel rides and more .
The Birdsville Big Red Bash will be held from July 5 to 7 at the Big Red sand dune , 35km west of Birdsville .
