The Let ’ s Go Queensland Caravan and Outdoor Supershow saw many exhibitors exceed national sales records .
More than 40,000 people attended the six-day show , resulting in thousands of recreational vehicles and products sold .
Caravanning Queensland Trade CEO , Jason Plant , said that even with rising interest rates and record fuel prices , more and more people were eager to participate in the RV lifestyle .
“ We are expecting the next 12 to 18 months to be very strong for the industry , as some dealers and manufacturers announce record sales resulting from this year ’ s show ,” he said .
“ Even with international borders now open , caravanning continues to be the top holiday option for Aussies , evident by these record sales which is great news for the wider tourism industry here in Queensland and across Australia .”
With the growing trend of off-grid and extreme caravan customisations , the show was the prime spot for dealers to release their new 2022 models .
Mr Plant said it wasn ’ t only exhibitors who had a successful show , with the offroad towing track proving to be a popular attraction , alongside the educational seminars .
