SILO ART CORRECTION
In the story on silo art ( GoRV # 65 ), I need to let you know that not all the people in the Brim silo art are men , as stated in the article . The person , second from the right , is a female . It is a picture of Mrs Win Appledore . My best mate is her son , Colin .
I used to live in Brim and knew these people . I hope this helps to correct this mistake . I do understand that it ’ s an easy mistake to make .

Thanks for pointing that out , Clinton – much appreciated . – Ed
APP HAPPY
Just a quick note to let you know that I ’ ve been using the new GoRV app . It seems to work quite well and I ’ ve found it easy enough to navigate . I enjoyed reading the article about the D-MAX – would you recommend it ? My wife and I are planning to do a Big Lap next year and were thinking of upgrading our vehicle .
John Simond
Hi John , thanks for your kind words about the app . The short answer is yes , I would recommend the D-MAX . But as we pointed out in the article , if you are towing 3500kg , there are some weight implications to consider , just as there are with most heavy-duty utes . Be sure that you ’ re aware of these issues . – Ed
