Big 4 Bendigo Marong Holiday Park , Vic , has opened up a range of new facilities and services .

The ‘ X-Golf ’ simulator is one of the most exciting additions . A first for holiday parks in Australia , the electronic golf simulator is popular with guests wanting to improve their handicap or try golf for the first time .

“ We built a new games room to house the X-Golf , which includes a new pool table and table tennis , so there ' s plenty to do in the park , even in wet weather ,” owner / manager Justin Morris said .

He said the park was now looking the best that it had since he took over about four years ago . “ We have made a concerted effort to make the park green . Our team has planted over 1000 trees and shrubs ,” Justin said .

“ We ' ve also installed 30kW of solar power panels to the roofs of our amenities . We ' ve laid over 2500m of instant turf to reduce the dust and enhance the experience for guests . Our new , fully asphalted roadways have delighted hundreds of kids riding around on the pedal carts and , of course , our new modular ‘ pump track ’ has been a hit with the little kids as well as teenagers !”
