RV MAIL
Time will tell if the new wave of electric tow vehicles will have the ‘ juice ’ to do the job properly , but the technology looks promising .
The bigger issue , I think , is that in Australia , we are far behind the curve in terms of the supportive infrastructure for such vehicles , though we are starting to see EV charging points pop up .
I don ’ t think we will be forced to purchase electric vehicles overnight . Rather , in the event they are unable to meet new emissions standards , vehicle manufacturers will phase out combustion engines in favour of electric engines , while we continue to get around with the cars we have . It will be a gradual process . – Ed
POOR RECEPTION
I am traveling around the country and mobile reception js not good enough . We are so far behind the rest of the world .
John de Bono
Couldn ’ t agree more , John . Australia does a lot of things well , but phone reception outside of capital cities and regional centres is not one of them . – Ed
FINDING MIRIMA
It would be a long trip if you were to look for Mirima Park west of Kununurra ! (‘ Broome vs Kununurra ’, issue # 65 .)
If you have an opinion or thought about the RV lifestyle , or about this digital magazine , we ’ d like to hear it ! Email your feedback to info @ gorv . com . au
As a WA resident , I agree with the final sentiment . It depends on what you are looking for but we opt for Kununurra as it is less crowded .
Peter Hanson
Thanks for pointing that out , Peter . Mirima National Park is in a more north-easterly direction ! – Ed
