We were incredibly saddened earlier this month by the death of our much-loved colleague , Jack Beattie . Sometimes , it can be hard to put into words how much someone means to you , or the difference they made in your life .

That ’ s the case here . But let me tell you something about Jack . Aside from being a talented videographer and video editor , he always had a smile . He was integral to the filming of our TV show , among many other shoots he did for GoRV and our sister company , Cameron Damon Media .

If there was a problem , Jack had a solution . If there was work to be done , Jack wanted to do it . Some people just make the day that little bit brighter , as though there ’ s a spark somewhere inside bursting to get out . That was Jack , and as I write , I ’ m remembering his grin , the way he held his camera , and the way he stood as he was framing up a shot .

Yes , it ’ s hard to put these things into words . But the memories we have – those are easy and will never fade . Thanks for everything , Jack . We ’ re missing you already .
