Traditions are so important to our family , as is passing down recipes through the generations and keeping the legacy of our loved ones alive through simple campfire cooking .
We were lucky this year that the weather was on our side . It was clear and sunny most days but the lack of cloud cover brought very cold nights .
LIVING IN THE WINDSOR
We loved being in the larger Windsor Genesis 220 MD , because it meant that meals could be comfortably prepared inside with enough room for everyone to sit at the table . The triple bunk meant we all had somewhere to sleep inside if we chose . ( However , our teenager Cooper requested his own space and slept in the swag outside .)
The large queen bed meant Jared , at 190cm , could spread right out and even hang his feet off the end of the bed . The internal toilet and shower put an end to the old mercy dash from the warm van to the amenities block and provided a private place for our nine-yearold Billy to complete his medical treatments .
