WITI UP FOR WA AWARD

The Australian-made RV security system WiTi has been named as a finalist in the 2023 Western Australia Innovator of the Year Awards . The awards , which have been celebrating ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit since 2006 , showcase and support outstanding achievements of individuals , businesses , and creative minds across Western Australia .

WiTi is , essentially , an anti-theft system . Designed for caravans and trailers , it uses a highly sensitive gyroscope to detect theft attempts , engaging the trailer ’ s brakes to prevent it from being towed . The caravan / trailer lights will flash and a 105db alarm will draw attention to any activity . The system can offer a host of other benefits , too , including a wireless towing interface which controls the van ’ s tail-lights without a hardwired connection .
