TRAVELS WITH KINGDEANO ADVENTURES
When we booked a one-night stay in Narooma , NSW , we didn ’ t know how much this small coastal town had to offer .
On arriving , we pulled up to Narooma Surf Beach , reversing our van into our parking spot , swinging open our back barn doors , and taking in the spectacular beach view over lunch . Unfortunately , our cavoodle , Twyla , wasn ’ t allowed on the beach , but there was a grassed area nearby where we could take her for a walk . After lunch , we headed to the holiday park we had booked .
We stayed at the pet-friendly Narooma Beach Discovery Park , where we were spoilt with the beach being only meters away ! The park has excellent amenities . The swimming pool was a highlight . The park caters for all types of travellers . It has basketball courts , camp kitchens , children ’ s play equipment , and more . After dinner that evening , we took a stroll on the beach that was only a minute away from our campsite . We woke the next morning wishing we had booked a second night .
After leaving the holiday park , we went in search of ‘ Australia Rock ’ at the nearby Wagonga Inlet . Australia Rock is a rock formation with a hollow section in the shape of Australia . We ’ d recommend checking it out – it is the product of thousands of years of erosion . Did it really look like Australia ? We ’ ll let you decide if you ’ re ever in town .
