RV FEATURE
The steam train was something Jared had done as a child , and our kids even had a go , but this was my first time . Sitting next to the windows of the carriage , it feels as though you are floating through the forest as the old train chugs along . Every person you pass smiles and waves , and they never seem too phased that they are waiting at the level crossing .
MEMORY AISLE
We left Puffing Billy and headed for a walk down Memory Aisle ! We drove to Sherbrooke to visit Poets Lane , where Jared and I got married . It was so nice to see the chapel and function space where we formalised our bond and partied like never before .
I snuck off to the motorhome and got changed into a dress and put my wedding vale on . Yes , I was that organised that I had packed it in my bag as a surprise for Jared .
I walked down the aisle and met my husband at the alter and whispered that I ’ m the luckiest girl in the world – I definitely picked a winner . It was lovely to reflect on our 27-year-old partnership and how we feel stronger and more connected than ever before .
