We couldn ’ t fault the hospitality of the team at Poets Lane . We thanked them for their generosity , and headed off to Olinda for some shopping . We got ‘ stuck ’ in Dr Quirky ’ s Vintage Emporium as we wandered around the antique curios , shopping , trying the old arcade machines and flicking through the records for some hidden treasure . We definitely need another visit to that place ! There were a few more quick stops for some chocolate at Only Mine Chocolate Café and some lollies for the kids at Mountains of Sweets and Souvenirs before trekking back to the caravan park to rest up for our last day .

On our final day , we enjoyed a sleep-in , had breakfast in the van , caught up on emails and FaceTimed the kids . We decided we would head to Innocent Bystander for brunch and some wine-tasting . The food was amazing , and the drinks were as good as we remembered . After having our fill , I highly recommend the cacciatori pizza and chargrilled prawns , and for dessert you can ’ t go past Cones of Joy . We , of course , swung past the cellar door and sent a few care packages home .
Our trip was complete and it was time to head home , but it was so nice to have some quality couple time . It ’ s always wonderful to go back in time for us . Being back in the Mt Dandenong and Yarra Valley area again and driving the Windsor Flinders motorhome by Apollo was truly a joy .
