ROLL OUT AWNING ANCHOR KIT

An unanchored awning is an accident waiting to happen . That ’ s where the Roll Out Awning Anchor Kit by Outback Tracks comes in .

This product isn ’ t rocket science but it is still terrific gear to add to your kit . Essentially , it involves a couple of anchor plates , which help to secure the vertical legs of the awning when they ’ re detached from the van . The kit also includes two high-vis straps , six specially designed screw-in pegs , a 19mm socket and drill adaptor , and a handful of other items that you ’ ll need to have a rock-solid awning setup .

Personally , I found this kit very easy to use and the special ‘ Ground Dog ’ screw-in pegs , with their aggressive thread , really bite into the soil . Even without fitting the hi-vis straps , with just the anchor plates being used , the awning felt solid

I ’ ve only given the gist of the product here but you get the idea . It ’ s about making your awning rock solid in all but the most extreme weather , and it works a treat .
