Dave , that ’ s just a horrible experience , and I hope you are able to have your personal costs in having the van repaired reimbursed . The fact that you also have good reason to believe the van was also used by someone at the factory is just unacceptable . Oh , and if you see a van on the road branded ‘ Marley ’, give Dave a wave . – Ed

PIGS GO CAMPING TOO

My husband I have a favourite campsite in Crowdy Bay National Park , NSW . We return here once a year on our way north to visit friends and always love it . But imagine my surprise when we arrived at our annual ‘ hidden ’ retreat only to find it strewn with beer bottles , toilet paper , cigarette butts and old magazines !

What we don ’ t understand is , how could anyone come to a spot that ’ s so beautiful and then feel okay about leaving it in such foul condition ? I refused to let our stopover be spoiled and I marched out there with a rubbish bag and picked it all up . I only wish I took a picture .

It ’ s because of idiots like this that local governments shut freecamps down or otherwise restrict access , and we should all be irate when we are greeted by scenes such as mine . I know I am preaching to the choir , but please leave your campsite better than how you found it .
