I love caravan parks . Yes , I know , I ’ ve written recently about freecamping and , don ’ t get me wrong , I tend to prefer finding an isolated spot with a great view and living off our own resources , but there is something really enjoyable about the community environment you can only find in a good caravan park .
For a start , you don ’ t have to worry about power and water , the two biggest concerns you have when free-camping . But , for the most part , there is a really friendly atmosphere you just don ’ t find anywhere else . You can walk around , day and night , in safety , say hello to everyone and perhaps have a chat with your neighbour about fuel economy or the best food in town .
Unfortunately , like anything else these days , the entitled nature of some individuals can , and does , spoil it for everyone else . Nowhere have we seen more bad behaviour by caravanners than what we have seen in caravan parks over the years . However , it has occurred to me that many who are new to the lifestyle may not be aware of the impact their activities can have on their fellow park visitors . So this month , we want to discuss the seven worst ‘ sins ’ committed at caravan parks .
