RV FEATURE
Emptying the toilet cassette is unpleasant enough without having to deal with a filthy dump point at the same time . When you use one , have some consideration for those who will follow you . Make sure you use the hose provided to wash away any residual material , including washing the lid down . In order to avoid blocking the dump point when emptying the cassette , only use toilet paper in your caravan ’ s toilet .
If you do find it blocked or overflowing , please let the park manager know immediately so that it can be dealt with promptly .
BLOCKING OTHER SITES
Have you ever noticed how many caravan parks seem to be a bit cramped , with not enough room for you to manoeuvre your 23ft van onto a site ? It ’ s because the vast majority of caravan parks have been around for years , back to a time when most caravans were not much more than about 15ft in length .
Then , when you do eventually park your van , there is little room for you to park your tow vehicle . It ’ s a fact of travelling life we all have to put up with . So imagine how annoying it is when you go to park your van and the person on the site opposite has parked their tow vehicle in front of their site , restricting your room to manoeuvre your rig onto your site . It happens all the time .
Many caravan parks were around back in the days when vans were much shorter than they are today , making for some cramped spaces indeed .
