The Hardcore ATX is Titanium Caravans ’ flagship caravan and the most popular in the range . Titanium had mounted a huge storage box on the A-frame . Rather than being a pre-fab unit , it ’ s made in-house to suit the space . It contains numerous separate storage compartments , including space for a little barbecue on the nearside and a generator on the offside . Meanwhile , there ’ s a large tunnel boot lined with checkerplate rather than galvanised sheet metal . As Titanium Caravans owner Jason Grech said , “ We don ’ t like how galvanised sheet metal can look old quickly and oxidise .”
Aft of the tunnel boot , there ’ s a slide-out kitchen equipped with a flip-over tabletop and an induction cooktop , made possible by the van ’ s large Enerdrive lithium battery bank , which is kept up to charge via the 800W worth of solar on the roof . The kitchen definitely looks the goods – and how refreshing not to have to connect to a gas bayonet .
