Every true offroad caravan needs a decent 12V system and the Kokoda Cobber 2 does not disappoint . In fact , it exceeds expectations , with an optional upgrade of 400Ah worth of lithium batteries mounted to the offside chassis rail behind some protective checkerplate . There ’ s an upgraded 400W worth of solar mounted to the roof , too , in the form of two 200W solar panels , and a 3000W inverter was also optioned too – that ’ s more than enough to power your kettle and toaster at the same time .
As for water , the Cobber 2 had dual 95L water tanks . A couple of 20L jerry can holders were mounted to the rear bumper , too , which if used for water would provide just over half a tank ’ s worth of extra water .
The A-frame offers a checkerplate storage box complete with slideout trays either side , a couple of 9kg gas cylinder , and a mesh stoneguard . General external storage space is taken care of thanks to the inclusion of a tunnel boot . Nice .
