STEP INSIDE THE GOLDSTREAM !

It ’ s possible that I ’ m biased , given that I ’ ve owned a Goldstream RV camper trailer before . I miss that rig . It was strong , easy to set-up , and never let me down . But based on that experience , I ’ d buy another Goldie in a heartbeat .

One such Goldstream RV that I have my eye on is this van , the Goldstream RV 1760 RE RD Rhino Platinum Series . With its squaredoff rear , the elegant curvature of its front profile , razor-straight walls clad with composite aluminium and black checkerplate over a meranti timber frame , it ’ s a real looker . But in the case of this extraordinarily well-fitted-out caravan , beauty is much more than skin deep .

When you get underneath , or take a good look inside , you ’ ll come to realise the workmanship that ’ s involved . I have a soft spot for Goldies , always have . So let ’ s climb aboard and take a closer look …

INTERIOR

Our van had a rear entry , directly opposite the 188L fridge , which had a microwave beautifully recessed into the cabinetry above . While the layout doesn ’ t break new ground , the fit and finish is up there with the best oft them .
